Love Maryport Town Team, with funding  from The North & West Cumbria Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) along witrh support from Maryport Town Council and Allerdale Borough Council are pleased to announce that a new town heritage trail has been developed and a supporting trail leaflet has been designed and will be printed and circulated over the next two weeks to help promote the town and harbour heritage.     The context and photographs for the leaflet has been... + continue reading

An application has been made to the Peoples Health Trust in support of our project to deliver a free community orchard. the idea behind this project has come form the Love Maryport Town Team. The aim is to provide a free community orchard which will provide free fruit to local residents and supply the Food banks. Check out the Maryport Wave Centre's mobile Clip 'n' Climb which will be out and about around Cumbria over the coming weeks. This is a new attraction which allows people the opportunity to enjoy just a sample of what is available at the Wave which has one of only two Clip 'n Climbs in the country.
